Position Description
For one of our international client based in Montreal, we are seeking for a full-time IT audit and compliance consultant who will assist our client with its IT general controls over 52-109 regulation.
The IT audit and compliance consultant will be reporting both to the client’s Compliance Director and as an employee, to our Business Technology Management Practice Partner. Located in downtown Montreal, the individual will be responsible to ensure that regulatory, IT general controls and IT audit findings are tracked and resolved.
More specifically, she or he will :

Conduct assessment on ITGC control processes to evaluate and improve the design and the operation effectiveness of ITGC controls.

Provide detailed reporting on the gaps and deficiencies of the assessment;

Work with the operation teams and the control owners to understand the gaps, provide the right evidences and remediate the deficiencies;

Monitor the ITGC progress and provide reporting to management.

Assist the audited groups

Help manage issues between auditors and the groups being audited

Challenge auditors findings to ensure they are warranted

Provide training to the control owners
This position will require some occasional short time travelling abroad (Australia, US, Europe, Singapore,..) , as such, passport needs to be in order for travelling being possible as soon as May 2018.
Required work experience
-
3 years of experience in audit firm/public accounting or internal audit in the Governance Risk and Compliance field.

Has performed IT Business Process documentation
-
Has performed IT Risk identification, Control design and testing
Educational requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or other related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or relevant professional designations such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
General requirements

Bilingual English / French

Handles pressure very well and can work on different tasks at the same time;

SharePoint/Resolver skills an asset

ISO 27,002 or NIST 800-52 knowledge

Willing to travel

Autonomous and able to take initiative

Excellent ability to communicate and team spirit
